Welcome to IAIR

IAIR was founded in 1991 to provide persons involved with insurance receivership's and financially stressed or troubled insurers a forum to exchange information, develop best practices, establish and maintain accreditation standards, and educate its members and others concerning the administration and restructuring of such insurers. IAIR's mission includes the establishment of a professional organization comprised of individuals who provide services associated with the affairs of insurers that are in receivership or otherwise financially troubled and in need of restructuring.

Identifying and Resolving Legal Issues

Join us in San Antonio for IAIR’s 2025 Technical Development Series (TDS), a one-day educational event dedicated to strengthening collaboration among Receivers, Regulators, and Guaranty Associations in their shared mission to protect policyholders.

This year’s theme—" Collaborating to Protect Policyholders – Working Together to Identify and Resolve Legal Issues "—will spotlight the critical importance of working together to ensure uninterrupted benefits for policyholders during times of insurer insolvency. Expert-led presentations will explore:

  • Early identification and resolution of legal issues
  • Navigating statutory authority
  • Strategies for effective asset recovery
  • Creative and coordinated legal solutions

Whether you're a seasoned professional or new to the industry, this event offers valuable insights into the collaborative legal framework that drives successful resolutions.
